Residential Narcotic searches

 

Do you suspect a child, spouse or live in nanny of abusing substances?

 

Action K9 offers discreet professional services.  We can help you eliminate drugs in your home. The home owner will escort our handler and certified Narcotics K9 to sniff for drugs in suspected areas or the entire home.  The actual presence of the drugs will be found during the sweep.  The smell of the drug may still be there and no actual drugs are found, this is called residual odors. However, when we leave you will know which areas the K9 showed an indication of narcotics.  Now you are in control to use the information and handle the current situation.

 

Using a K9 is affordable.  We will provide you with peace of mind of either knowing that your child, spouse, or live-in employee is free of drugs or knowing you need to take the next step. Many drug kits are expensive and take time to receive results.  The suspected drug user would need to cooperate to do a drug test or you can use Action K9 and allow our narcotic K9 to sniff out drugs while the suspected family member/ employee is not home.  A drug dog will search and locate hidden drugs and allow you to handle the situation on your own terms.

Action K9 will provide random, unannounced visits to your business to find and/or deter the use of drugs in the work place.  We will check desks, file cabines, book cases, lockers, common areas and parking lots and any other area requested. 

 

School Narcotic Searches 

 

 Did you know that :

  • More than 60 percent of teens said that drugs were sold, used, or kept at their school.

  • 20 percent of 8th graders report that they have tried marijuana.
  • 28 percent of teens know a classmate or friend who has used ecstasy (Teen Substance Abuse).

    •     Approximately 15 percent of 10th and 12th graders have used amphetamines. In a study at San Francisco General Hospital, 25 percent of seizures were found to be caused by amphetamine use. An estimated 1.8 million (0.8 percent) of youth age twelve and older are current users of cocaine.

        Teen arrestees often test positive for recent drug use. The National Institute of Justices Arrestee and Drug Monitoring System (ADAM) drug testing program found that 66 percent of underage male arrestees tested positive for marijuana.
     
    Action K9 can provide random, unannounced visits to your school to help deter/detect the presence of illegal drugs. In the event our K9 indicates a scent, we will notify school officials.  Then the school officials will be responsible for anything that is found.
